Below, we walk through those things so you can budget before you ask anyone for a number. When you want the exact figure, our order page prices your listing when you book online.

What drives the price up or down?

Four things do most of the work. Once you know them, you can guess where a listing will land before anyone sends you a quote.

How does price scale with listing size?

Size moves a quote more than anything else. The table shows how LA pricing tends to scale. Use it to plan a budget. It's not a VVT rate card.

Is it worth paying more for a full media bundle instead of photo-only?

Give each format a job. Photos show the rooms and the details. A 3D tour shows how the layout flows. A film ties the spaces together and gives you clips for social and listing pitches. Weigh those jobs against the package cost. Don't count on a set bump in the sale price.

A 3D tour also lets buyers walk the home on their own time, which photos can't do. $1M listing vs. $5M listing: does the media budget scale the same way?

No. This one trips up agents more than any other pricing question. A $5M listing doesn't need five times the photos of a $1M listing. It needs a different kind of shoot: twilight exteriors, drone shots, a full video walkthrough, and sometimes a video with you in it. We show where the budget should grow, and where it shouldn't, in media packages for a $1M listing vs. a $5M listing.

Why do prices vary so much between studios?

Usually it's scope, not skill. A low quote is often photo-only with no rush option. A high one may fold video, drone and next-day delivery into one price. Two "photography" quotes can look the same on paper and cover very different work.

With us, photos, 3D, drone and staging are edited and delivered the next morning. Video takes 2 to 4 business days. Ask every studio what their turnaround is. A great gallery that shows up five days after your list date has already missed your launch.

How should an agent budget for media across a year of listings?
