Venice homes, from walk streets to canals, shot for their design
Venice homes for buyers who notice design, shot with photos and video in one careful visit.
Architect-built homes, framed to look as good as they are
Walk-street cottages, canal homes and modern rebuilds: that's Venice. We shoot photos and video in one visit, and the photos are in your inbox the next morning. The listing video takes 2 to 4 business days.
Venice is different from the rest of the Westside. Many homes here are architect-built or freshly redone: exposed concrete, walls of glass, a roof deck angled for a slice of ocean, a garage turned into an ADU that matches the main house. Buyers walking through are checking whether the design holds up. A phone photo can't prove that.
So the photos have to be careful. That means straight verticals, honest light and angles that show how the spaces connect. A crooked lens or a blown-out window looks sloppy on a design-forward listing in a way it wouldn't on an ordinary house inland.
Walk-street homes are their own thing. There's no driveway and no garage door to crop out. The house opens onto a pedestrian path lined with other houses. Buyers need to feel that, and a listing description can't do it. So we shoot the approach and the courtyard or patio that stands in for a yard. Out-of-town buyers always ask the same thing: what is it like to live here without a car in the driveway?
Canal homes have a different job. The water, the footbridges and the closeness of the block should show in a wide shot before the interior comes up. For the modern rebuilds, the design is the pitch: clean lines, materials and how inside and outside fold together. A video walk-through tells that better than stills, and it shares well on Instagram, where plenty of Venice buyers already spend time.

Learn moreWhat does Venice real estate photography cost?
The same as anywhere in LA: priced by the home's size. Photos start at $250, and listing packages run from $650 (Standard) to $2,200 (Signature). You see your exact price before you book.
Do you shoot walk-street and canal homes in Venice?
Yes. We shoot walk-street and canal homes and modern rebuilds across Venice. Photos and video happen in one visit, and we plan around walk-street and canal access, since many of these homes don't have a driveway to stage from.
How soon will a Venice listing's photos be ready?
Walk-street and canal homes come with quirks, but they don't change the clock. Photos are in your inbox the next morning. The listing video takes 2 to 4 business days.
Why does design-aware photography matter for Venice listings?
Many Venice homes are architect-built or recently rebuilt, and buyers look at design as closely as layout. Straight lines, honest light and angles that show how spaces connect matter more on a bold modern build, because the design is part of what's on the market.
Is a video worth it for a Venice listing?
Usually. A well-cut video shows the walk-street or canal lifestyle in a way stills can't, and it shares easily on Instagram, where many Venice buyers already spend time.
Which Venice neighborhoods do you cover?
Across Venice, from the canals and Abbot Kinney to the walk streets off Ocean Front Walk, and the Westside neighborhoods around it.
