A Studio City traditional, a hillside rebuild: two different shoots
Updated traditionals south of Ventura and modern rebuilds climbing toward Mulholland: photos, video and drone for Studio City listings.
The street comes first, then the kitchen
Studio City runs from 1950s traditionals two blocks from the Village to glass-and-steel rebuilds with a canyon view. We shoot the photos, video and drone in one visit, and the photos and drone are back the next morning.
Many Studio City buyers work in the business, and they shop with a map open on their phone. They want to know how far the house is from the studios, the Village and Ventura Boulevard. A photo of the kitchen can't tell them that. A shot of the street, the walk to the shops and the backyard can.
The homes split two ways. Updated traditionals keep their original bones, so the photos should respect that without hiding the updates. Hillside rebuilds are built around glass and flow, from the living room out to the pool deck, so we shoot that opening as one space, not a row of separate rooms.
Location comes before square footage for most Studio City buyers. Close to the studios, close to the Village, a stretch of Ventura Boulevard you can actually walk. So the listing should show the neighborhood too: the street, the walk, the afternoon light in the yard.
Two houses a few doors apart can need very different shoots: a fully redone 1950s traditional and a new modern. The traditional gets warm daylight that shows the real hardwood and original windows. The rebuild gets clean lines, wide rooms and a drone pass that shows how it sits on the hill.

Learn moreWhat does Studio City real estate photography cost?
The same as anywhere in LA: priced by the home's size. Photos start at $250, and listing packages run from $650 (Standard) to $2,200 (Signature). You see your exact price before you book.
Do you shoot both traditional and modern homes in Studio City?
Yes. We shoot renovated 1950s traditionals in the flats and modern rebuilds on the hillside streets. Traditionals get warm, honest daylight. Rebuilds get clean, wide coverage of the indoor-outdoor spaces.
How soon will a Studio City listing be ready?
Photos and drone are in your inbox the next morning, whatever the house. The listing video takes 2 to 4 business days.
Why does location matter so much in Studio City?
Many Studio City buyers work in entertainment and shop by location first: the studios, the Village, Ventura Boulevard. Video and drone that show the street and the surroundings answer those questions better than interior photos alone.
Which Studio City neighborhoods do you cover?
We cover all of Studio City, from the flats south of Ventura to the hillside streets, and the Valley neighborhoods around it.
Also around Studio City.
